Heredity is the transmission of characters from generation to generation. It is the cause of having similarities between the parents and the offspring in many aspects. It transfers the characters from parents to their offspring through egg and sperm.

Even though offspring receive all the characters from their parents, they are not exactly the same. There are always differences between the parents and their offspring and this is called Variation.

We used punnett square to determine the potential combination of genotype that can occur in an offspring given the genotype of their parents. Punnett square is used by biologists to predict an outcome of a particular breeding experiment.

The activity we did that was the same with the previous activity is the Probability. In these activities, we used similar strategy which is the tossing of coins to determine the possible outcome of our activities.
